Speaking--This gift equips one to be able to publicly communicate in an inspiring, productive, or convincing manner, particularly in regards to biblical truths. Speaking is one way communication, whereas teaching is interactive. An example of leading through speaking is convincing an audience that Jesus is the Son of God (Acts 18:24-28).
Individuals with the gift of speaking can utilize their talent to edify the church and communicate biblical truths effectively in various contexts. Their ability to articulate messages compellingly can be beneficial in numerous ministries within the church:

- Preaching: While not all speakers are preachers, those with the gift can share message during worship services, men's, women's, or youth, gatherings, special events, or community events.
- Evangelism: Use their speaking gift in evangelistic outreaches, clearly presenting the gospel to non-believers in a persuasive and understandable manner.
- Testimony Sharing: Share impactful personal testimonies during services or special events, inspiring others through their life stories and spiritual milestones.
- Prayer Leadership: Lead prayer meetings or prayer segments within services, articulating prayers that resonate with the congregation's needs and spiritual aspirations.
- Announcements and Communications: Make church announcements engaging and informative, ensuring that the congregation is aware of and excited about upcoming events.
