Leadership—Just as there are evangelists but all are called to make disciples, so there is a gift of leadership, though all are called to lead through the Spiritual gifts which they have been given. This gift equips one to influence others in such a way that they willingly follow this person, often by painting a vision of the ministry or project. An example of leading through the gift of leadership would be initiating an annual mission trip and inspiring others to participate in this ministry (Acts 18:18).

Here are several ways individuals with this gift can serve in church ministries. Note: one does not have to serve in a formal leadership role to provide leadership in an area or ministry

- Ministry Team Leader: Oversee a specific ministry (e.g., youth, outreach, worship) by setting goals, organizing activities, and motivating team members.
- Strategic Planning Committee: Help develop long-term plans for church growth, including new ministries, community outreach, or church planting efforts.
- Small Group Coordinator: Organize and supervise small group ministries, ensuring leaders are trained and groups are functioning effectively.
- Mission Trip Catalyst: Initiate, plan, or lead mission trips, encouraging participation and facilitating the spiritual and logistical preparation of the team.
- Worship Service Team: Help with the planning and execution of worship services, ensuring that each element aligns with the thematic and spiritual direction.
- Project Manager: Lead specific church projects, such as building campaigns or community service initiatives, from concept to completion.
- Mentoring Program Director: Establish a mentoring program where experienced believers can guide and nurture newer Christians or emerging leaders.
