Next Generation for Christ - 2024 Winter/Spring & Summer Internship Openings (ONLINE/REMOTE w/Overseas Camp Option!)

Jobs Tasks / Potential Opportunities & Experience Gained through Next Generation for Christ Internships
(Note: Opportunities Can Be Shaped Around Each Intern’s Background, Major, Gifts, and Experience--and Training for these Skills Can be Provided & Developed w/Next Gen!)

LEADERSHIP, FAITH SHARING, TEACHING EXPERIENCE OPPORTUNITY- Lead, facilitate, and participate in online Bible studies using the Story of Redemption Film Series (SOR) w/groups, one-on-one, two-on-one, including English Learning Version (note TEFL students!) of SOR w/other young adults and students around the world
DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL CHURCH, CHRISTIAN NON-PROFIT, & MULTICULTURAL EXPERIENCE OPPORTUNITY - Meet and work with both US church leaders and international leaders, missionaries, and students from around the world
CHILDREN, YOUTH, & ADULT CURRIULUM & CAMP EXPERIENCE OPPORTUNITY - Work on developing children and youth lessons for domestic and international opportunities

COMMUNICATIONS / SPEAKING / WRITING / PR EXPERIENCE OPPORTUNITY- Share, write, give testimonials about Next Gen and SOR studies, helping to raise awareness, encourage, and inspire others; opportunity to share spiritual thoughts/devos
NETWORKING EXPERIENCE OPPORTUNITY - Network, share, and recruit students, church, university, and mission leaders to get involved with Next Gen and SOR
SOCIAL MEDIA, ADVERTISING, GRAPHIC DESIGN, VIDEO EXPERIENCE OPPORTUNITY - Create social media strategies, make posts to Next Gen / SOR Facebook page, Instagram accounts, website w/stories, pictures, videos; use design & video skills
ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE OPPORTUNITY - Do administrative tasks and provide organizational assistance to Next Gen
TEAM EXPERIENCE OPPORTUNITY - Attend Next Gen team meetings, gaining experience working w/domestic & international teams

Helpful or Needed Skills, Attributes, and Training

Strong Christian faith and evident Christian character; A willing and servant attitude
Experience in leading Bible studies
Interest in and heart for the unchurched and people of other cultures
Ability to write and use pictures and videos for storytelling and postings; share vision and get others involved
Picture and video creation and editing, website and basic computer skills
Organizational skills
Ability to speak other languages a plus (our SOR series is in 40+ languages)

Volunteer and Paid Part Time Positions Available (7-10 hours per week) in the Fall and Spring; Summer Full Time, 3/4 Time, 1/2 Time, and 1/4 Time Summer 2024 Internships are Available w/option to serve at our Next Gen summer camps for kids, teens, and adults in beautiful Croatia, UK, and more! Most hours for this position are flexible. Start date for summer internship is towards the end of April / first of May for 10-12 weeks.

Note: After completing summer internship, there are opportunities for continuing throughout the year as voluntter and hourly/part time, paid Next Gen Interns, with opportunity for pay increases, possible future career opportunities.
